David Richardson was raised in the Christian faith by godly parents. They were missionaries with the Northern Canada Evangelical Mission before taking up a Baptist pastorate in northern Ontario.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History and a Bachelor of Education, both from the University of Toronto.
He met his wife Diane at Ontario Bible College – they have three grown children and seven grandchildren. They live in Peterborough with ‘Princess’ – a loving, playful cat Diane adopted from a local humane society.
David has had a lifelong interest in the defense of the faith against attack from without and error from within. He believes that a knowledge of the Bible will enable God’s people to understand the truth and to live godly lives.
He considers it his privilege to explain the Bible, usually verse-by-verse, in order to communicate God’s truth and its application today.
